start my own barbeque and pork rind catering business and now that I have the iBOT®, it will be easier for me to do that. Right now, I’m working to get a place started and I can tell you that the iBOT® is already making it easier for me to reach for things on high shelves and in the freezer. In the past, I had to have someone assist me. Now, that’s no longer an issue.

I’ve already hosted catering parties in my backyard and I can tell you that I’m sure not getting stuck in the mud like I did with my old wheelchair. When my business gets started, I’m looking forward to being able to get into the homes of the people I cater for, including the homes of some of my friends and relatives, that I have never visited before.

Another thing that the iBOT® has allowed me to do is attend mass at the church where my grandfather used to be a minister. The church in my hometown isn’t accessible and I had not been inside of it to see mass in a long time. For the first time in 40 years, I didn’t have to stay at home or find another church that’s accessible.

The iBOT® has given me a tremendous amount of freedom and accessibility. It is pretty amazing. I gave up a lot for my country and am extremely pleased that the Veteran Administration (VA) was willing to purchase an iBOT® 4000 for me. I definitely think more veterans should have access to the iBOT® to give them the freedom to do what they want to do, when they want to do it, and how they want to do it.
